Pirin Golf & County Club - frequently asked questions

This page will give answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding Pirin Golf & Country Club.
Due to the large ammount of rumour and misleading marketing, which trapped many golfers into "cheap Bansko golf property" outside Pirin Golf without access to the fairways and the most frequently used "bite" - the Ian Woosnam golf course we will not discuss any of the "Bansko Razlog golf stories". Razlog municipality official plans give the answer for all, who research thoroughly the issue...

* Question (Q): When completion of Pirin Golf District - I, Downtown District , The Lake District and District - III should be expected?
* Answer (A): The technical (construction and building) completion of the Pirin Golf Districts mentioned is expected in the period September - December 2008. Note that this is the most complex development in the whole area. The intention is to create conditions for all owners, who would like to use their properties in the winter season to have this opportunity.

* Q: When the owners and their guests will have the opportunity to play the full 18-hole Ian Woosnam design golf course?
* A: Intensive construction works, including shaping and grassing of faiways and greens N 1 - 9 are taking place at the moment (August - September). We can help you see greens N 8 and N 9 in phase of preparation as well as the green fairways 8 and 9. It is expected that the official opening of the 18-hole Ian Woosnam golf course will take place at the beginning of the golf season 2009 in April - May 2009.

* Q: Did the builders start to work on the finishing works inside the buildings ?
* A: Yes, many apartments and houses are well ahead with the finishing works, including tiling etc.

* Q: Is there any facility working at Pirin Golf and Country Club at the moment ?
* A: Yes, the half-way Club house is fully operational and the Clubhouse is now being opened. Drinks and food are served.

* Q: Can one play the first nine holes of the Ian Woosnam golf course ?
* A: Yes, if you would like to test the first 13 holes of the Ian Woosnam golf course simply give us a call or contact us. We'll be happy to make the necessary arrangements. Note that the course will be closed from November 2008 till April 2009, when the golf season will start hopefully on the full 18-hole Ian Woosnam course.

* Q: How does the "credit crunch" influence buying a property at Pirin Golf and Country Club ?
* A: It is a matter of fact that the present credit conditions are not as favourable as they were a 2 or 3 years ago. Meanwhile in October 2008 The Guardian published an interseting article on overseas property worth taking a note of. It does not mention Pirin Golf but gives some good ideas why it is worth thinking of properties with specific (exclusive) features in Central Europe, including Bulgaria.

* Q: Is there an option to buy cheaper at Pirin Golf and Country Club? Are there any special offers?
* A: If you are interested in this exclusive resort , the answer is YES. Cash buyers are welcome and incentives from First Bulgaria are in place.
