The Golf

Pirin Golf & Country Club in Bansko - Razlog valley, Bulgaria is becoming the second largest mountainous golfing site in Europe after Zell Am See - Kaprun, Austria with an overall of 36 holes quality alpine golf, PGA Golf Academy and complete infrastructure.
The first Bansko Razlog golf course is designed by 2006 Ryder Cup European team captain Ian Woosnam . The full 18-hole Ian Woosnam design course will become operational soon. The first PGA golf event at Pirin Golf will be held in July 2008 and international golf events are planned for 2010.
The second Bansko - Razlog golf course is under construction south of the internal road, in the area of the driving range. The Pine course will be built as a full , 18-hole (par 72) layout in 2-3 years.
Both are designed as championship golf courses , capable of hosting international golf events and tournaments.

The site is very beautiful, located at the foot of the forest covered mountain slopes of Pirin Mountain, with stunning views of Pirin, Rila and Rhodopa Mountains.
